EN 45545 LAMINATES
Polyester-glass composites manufactured by hand-layup and vacuum infusion. Specialists in fire-retardant resin systems for railway rolling stock.
The specialisation rolling-stock engineers are looking for
Railway know-how
Years of production experience for builders of rail cars, trains and rail vehicles. We understand what engineers, auditors and industry standards expect.
EN 45545 fire-retardant systems
We work with railway-grade fire-retardant resins. We know their processing envelope and maintain full parameter conformity.
Full process in one place
From 3D model, through technical documentation, pattern making and lamination, to assembly, integration and finishing.
Infusion technology
An advanced manufacturing method delivering high repeatability, thickness control and a better weight-to-strength ratio.
End-to-end composite manufacturing
Six disciplines, one supplier. We handle both prototypes and serial production of composite parts.
3D Modelling & Documentation
We build the technical documentation from your design requirements — CAD models, workshop drawings, material specifications.
Pattern Making
Master pattern and production-mould construction — precise geometric reproduction, prepared for hand-layup and infusion.
Lamination
Hand-layup and vacuum infusion. Structural resins and fire-retardant systems for railway applications.
Assembly & Integration
Sub-assembly integration, joining with metal components, final kitting in line with customer documentation.
Spray Finishing
Surface preparation, priming and top-coat spraying in a dedicated paint booth.
Railway Specialisation
Fire-retardant resin systems, EN 45545 compliance, audit-ready documentation. Composites for rail cars, metros and trams.
Six steps from concept to finished part
3D Modelling
Full CAD documentation — from concept to workshop drawings. Aligned with your design requirements.
Technical Documentation
Material specifications, process sheets, quality control procedures. Audit-ready from day one.
Pattern Making
Master pattern and production mould construction. Precise geometric reproduction of the part.
Lamination
Polyester-glass laminate — hand-layup or vacuum infusion. Thickness, structure and resin-content control.
Assembly
Integration of sub-assemblies, bonding to metal components, kitting per documentation.
Finishing
Surface preparation and top-coat application in a specified RAL colour. Final inspection and packaging.

EN 45545-compliant composites
EN 45545 defines the fire-safety requirements for materials used in railway rolling stock. We work exclusively with EN 45545-certified fire-retardant resins and understand the processing regime required to preserve compliance.
Rolling stock fire standard
EN 45545 — European standard specifying fire protection requirements for materials used in railway rolling stock.
- Laminates using HL1–HL3 fire-retardant resins, matched to your application requirements
- Thickness and resin-content control aligned to fire-performance specifications
- Manufacturing documentation ready for customer and certifier audit
Certification in progress
We are finalising certification for our quality management system and material conformity for the railway industry. Formal compliance is in the closing stages of the process.
An engineering workshop with railway DNA
ARPA sp. z o.o. was founded on the experience of a team with long-standing roots in railway production. We focus exclusively on polyester-glass composites — from prototype to series. We combine the craftsmanship of hand-layup with the precision of vacuum infusion.
Precision
Every part passes dimensional and quality inspection in line with the governing documentation.
Transparency
Full manufacturing and material documentation with every delivery.
Specialisation
We do one thing — composites — and we do it well. No compromise outside our remit.
